中学 1 年より創作ダンスを始め、ダンスの全国大会（AJDF）で多数受賞。横浜国立大学在学中に、体育会ダンス部での活動を母体としながら舞台作品、身体表現の創作を行なってきた。大学院終了後は、フリーで活動。自主企画のほか、不定期でショーダンサーやバックダンサーも務める。
若手振付家のコンペティション（YDC EX2015）にて、最優秀新人賞受賞、海外ダンスフェスティバルへの招聘などを受ける。
学校教育現場における「からだほぐしの運動／表現運動等」の指導方法を実践的に学び、教育分野の視点を活かしながら、舞台芸術の道を歩む。
現在、神奈川県内専門学校にてダンス(体育)非常勤講師としても勤務中。

Minami NAKAYASHIKI joined the dance club in her first year of junior high school.The fundamentals she cultivated through its extracurricular activities as well as in coursework have influenced her choreography.She expresses human emotions and feelings ,and the desires embodied in those feelings through delicate and richly expressive movement and superb powers of composition.

She was awarded the Yokohama Dance Collection EX2015 Outstanding New Artist Prize.
